What a school’s pickup looks like

You tell us what’s due back and when. A spreadsheet or a rough count is fine, and we’ll plan the pickup around your dates.
We send packing materials. Boxes, pallet wrap and labels.
The school packs it and tells us it’s ready. For some pickups, we can come out and help pack.
We pick it up for free. A truck collects it and brings it to our facility.
We wipe, test and sort. Every drive is wiped. Devices are tested, then refurbished or recycled.
The school gets the paperwork. A summary report of what we processed and what happened to it, and a Certificate of Destruction for Windows and Apple devices, on request. Chromebooks are Powerwashed instead: the ChromeOS reset that securely erases all user data.

Leasing or reselling to schools? Source your devices through us.

High-margin Grade A and B stock, tested and graded on-site in Northern Kentucky, with a limited warranty. Many school districts pay for their orders with credit from our buyback program, so the devices coming back help pay for the next batch.

Is pickup free for the schools?

Yes. We recover value by giving devices a second life through refurbishment.

Can schools get money back?

Yes, for devices that pass testing. Each device is tested and valued on its own.

How buyback works

Do you take Chromebooks?

Yes. Laptops, Chromebooks, desktops, Macs, iPads and tablets, and more.

What we take

Is there a certificate?

Yes, on request. One certificate covers the Windows and Apple devices in each batch, following NIST SP 800-88. Chromebooks are Powerwashed instead. It can go to you or the school.

How we wipe data

How long does it take?

Plan on 30 to 45 days from when the devices reach our facility. Working to a lease end or the end of the school year? Put the date in the introduction.
